Laboratório mediterrâneo is a design collective founded by
Alda, Marta and Enrica, based in Lisbon.
Alda Jesus
Born in Lisbon (1978), Alda graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon in 2003.
Her studies included a brief period in the Escuela Tecnica de Arquitectura Del Valles, Barcelona, Spain with an Erasmus Grant. Following an intership in Promontório Arquitectos in Lisbon she worked as an Architect in Erick Van Egeraat architects in Rotterdam, Holland, from 2004 to 2007. Between 2007 and 2010, working in the Architectural practice of Rafael Viñoly, in New York, USA and in London, UK as a Project Architect, Alda participated in various international projects, culminating in the coordination of the refurbishment project of the Battersea Powerstation, a Grade l Listed building in London. From 2010 to 2017 she joined the major international practice of Foster+Partners, and as an Associate Architect she participates in several projects including a museum, mixed used developments, an educational building, and The flagship store for Apple in London’s Regent Street. In late 2017 she began a collaboration in the practice of Pedro Campos Costa in Lisbon, coordinating the project for the Municipal Market of the City of Quarteira in the Algave Region.
More recently, in partnership with Marta Onofre and Enrica Mazzon, Alda founded Laboratorio Mediterraneo.
Marta Onofre
Born in Lisbon (1985), graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon in 2008.
Erasmus exchange program at TU Berlin in 2006-2007. Architect assistant at CIAUD- Research Centre for Architecture, Urban Planning and Design - FAUTL (2010-2011).
Since 2008 has been a close collaborator of Pedro Campos Costa in Lisbon. During 2011 and 2013 worked at UNA
arquitetos in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since 2014 has been in Lisbon, working as a producer and architect, developing his own projects.
Creates, with the designer David Francisco, the infraleve
Bunker Dourado / ê e é.
Participated in the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale.
Collaborated with the Lisbon Architecture Triennale in 2016 and with the independent publisher Monade's as producer.
Parttner at Tornelli+Onofre since 2018 and co-founder of Laboratório Mediterrâneo

Enrica Mazzon
Born in Padua (1993), graduated from University IUAV of Venice in 2017. Her studies includes several workhop experience with IUAV Venice Unversity, UCL Tournai (BE), University Gand and an internship in Studio Paola Viganó in Milan. She finished her studies with Erasmus+ program in Lisbon and there starts working in Campos Costa Arquitetos from 2018 to 2020. Meanwile collabrates with Negri&Fauro Architetti in Padua and Tornelli+Onofre in Lisbon.
More recently, in partnership with Alda Jesus e Marta Onofre founded Laboratório Mediterrâneo.
